Hello friends!
It feels like it’s been forever since I’ve written my last blog post! Things have been going well for all of y’alls favorite old man. Recently I have heard some shocking news will shake up the whole world. Apparently, the stock market is crashing horribly, almost as bad as it did in 2008. That was an extreme rough year for you humans, the family I lived with during the time got hit especially hard. I remember the kids being so excited to get the new wii game system, I too was excited because I’ve always wanted to play bowling, but due to my size I was never able to play. However, the father of the family lost his job which meant the children could not get their beloved gaming device. Not being able to play bowling in the comfort of the living room was only the beginning of the trouble. For the next few years there was a noticeable sense of nervousness and uncertainty in the air. It was a very scary time for you humans> many people were out of work and everyone saw a decline in their quality of life. I find it a little peculiar how you humans rely on an economic system that completely crashes ever few years. All it takes is for a few stockholders to get scared and start selling, and then suddenly everyone gets scared and the stock market will go in free fall. I swear you humans get spooked so easily, even a sneeze has a high probability of spooking people into a new recession. Who knows if this drop in the stock market will result in another terrible recession? It has been way to long since our last recession, so my outlook is bleak. Hopefully, it wont be anything like the Great Depression, boy was that period …well depressing. It was an especially hungry period for Podrick as food was extremely scarce, so scavenging was nearly impossible. I even had to resort to eating my own boot! To be fair with my use of seasoning, the boot actually didn’t taste that bad. I probably wouldn’t eat a boot again, unless I really need to. Well if this crash in the stock market turns into a recession, I can post my leather boot recipe so all of you can whip up some flavorful footwear. I hope to the heavens it will not come to that though. Who knows maybe if America plunges into another depression, I just might abandon this country for good. I’ve always fantasized about setting up a nice cabin in Madagascar. There has been something in my bones lately that has had me craving humid weather. Maybe ive become to reliant on the humans for my survival. Maybe its about time I have become self-sufficient. It seems like you humans are becoming less and less stable. Maybe I should find a new species to leach off of. Would a gang of monkeys accept me as their own? No, that wont work as I have an intense hatred for bananas. Anyways, I wish all of my dear readers good luck in these troubling times.
